Stainless steel surcharges are poised to rise almost across the board in June, marking the fifth consecutive month of increases for all Type 201 and 304 stainless steel products. Type 316 products also are set to go up next month, after posting some declines for May. The gains are being driven by increased nickel, copper and manganese prices, offset by flat chrome and iron pricing and by lower molybdenum prices.
